Meet the Maker
Hi, I'm Thaiane
a Brazilian artist who turned colour into a calling.
Growing up in Brazil, I was surrounded by colour, creativity and handmade things. Making jewellery was never just a hobby, it was how I expressed myself. I had my first brand back in Brazil, and when I moved to London I couldn't imagine stopping. But starting over in a new country, working in restaurants while learning English, I had to find a new way to create.
During the pandemic, with time and a lot of determination, Thaiane Handmade Jewellery was born. I taught myself from scratch, experimenting with polymer clay and resin until I found my style: bold, colourful, joyful pieces that feel like wearable art. What surprised me most was how deeply people connected with them. Jewellery, I realised, is personal. It tells a story. Your story.
"I want every piece to feel like it was made for you, because in a way, it was."
Eventually life brought me to Lisbon, and I knew instantly I was home. Today I have my first physical store in Alfama, a pink little corner of creativity in one of the city's most soulful neighbourhoods. It's not just a shop. It's a place where I make, create, and host workshops, because I believe creativity is always better when it's shared.
Every piece is still handmade by me, one at a time, with non-toxic materials and no shortcuts. Because I believe that what you wear every day should bring you joy and remind you that being yourself is more than enough.
Thank you for being here.
Lots of love, Thaiane 🤍
